Tegan Liddy - Northern Kaanju Tutor

Tegan Liddy is 18 years old, she is the youngest member of the group of tutors. Tegan was born in Cairns, she attended her primary schooling at the Coen State School, after Primary, Tegan attended secondary boarding school at Shalom College in Townsville , where she completed year 12.

Tegan is representing the Northern Kaanju clan, through her grandmother on her father’s side. Tegan’s grandmother is Northern Kaanju although her father is from the Umpila clan, her mother is Lama lama and she is related to the Wik Mungkan and Southern Kaanju clan groups.

Tegan lives with her grandmother and has 3 sisters, 1 brother and a son name Lee.

Tegan is looking forward to working on the Kids Club program, especially the homework part where families come into Every Child Is Special, to help with their children studies. Tegan is not to keen on public speaking and presentation in front of a lot of people.

For the future she would like to experience working in the city, in a job that is involved with kids and sports.

Tegan will support and encourage her son Lee, why it is important to finish year 12 at high school.
