Lauren Johnston - Every Child Is Special Researcher/Analyst

Lauren has a wealth of experience in project and change management gained through positions both in Australia and overseas within Corporate Communications and Human Resources. She has worked in cross-cultural project teams on multinational policy development and has implemented numerous corporate social responsibility projects locally. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Master of Arts in International Communications and a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Macquarie University in Sydney.

Passionate about social responsibility, Lauren sees her position with Every Child is Special as opportunity to be involved in cutting edge Indigenous Education Reform designed to improve the performance of, and outcomes for, Indigenous students in Cape York Peninsula. She provides a theoretical framework for the Indigenous Education Reform being driven by Every Child is Special and works with the team on the development of Education Reform initiatives.
