That's why we've implemented a number of initiatives that focus on inducting, training and continuously supporting the development of our employees.
Induction
Upon joining, employees are scheduled to attend our four-day induction program. This comprehensive induction into the organisation is designed to build the foundations needed to launch our new employees' career at Cape York Partnerships.
Performance Appraisal
Appraising people's performance is a vital ingredient in a high performance organisation.
Every employee contributes to Cape York Partnerships achieving its mission, striving to achieve its vision and living its values, therefore the effective and supportive management of each employee's performance is essential.
At Cape York Partnerships we are committed that every employee will have a performance, development and advancement plan which is reviewed with their manager and supported by Cape York Partnerships' Human Resources unit.
Key performance measures are set at the time of employment and continuous support is provided through one-on-one meetings, regular feedback and open discussions around training and professional development.
Continuous Learning and Development
Cape York Partnerships employees operate in a challenging environment, one that they may not have experienced in previous workplaces, which means there are greater opportunities to acquire new skills, knowledge and expertise.
Cape York Partnerships currently offers internal seminars and supports the pursuit of formal qualifications through further study. Learning and Development is an area of continuous improvement for Cape York Partnerships including sourcing additional training opportunities and developmental tools to make sure our employees excel in their chosen career.
