Ready, Set, Go — Student Education Trusts (SETs)
Student Education Trusts enable parents to financially support their child's education and development "from birth to graduation".
Student Education Trust staff work with parents and families to manage funds to meet their child's education needs.
Student Education Trust staff also work with education and child development services to set appropriate expectations of a child's needs with families and works with education material suppliers to improve family access to educational goods and services.
Objectives
- Parents and families are able to meet their child's financial/material educational needs
- Children have access to quality educational goods and services
- It is a social norm that parents can afford to and will contribute to meet their child's education needs and will be given the responsibility to do so
