CYAAA Project Administrator
The Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy (CYAAA) requires a Project Administrator to design business solutions through research and by working in consultation with project team/s, partners and other related interests. The major accountabilities of the position are:
- research and analysis
- business development
- reporting and evaluation
- community engagement
The Project Administrator is responsible for providing support to the CYAAA CEO in execution of her role. The major accountabilities of the position are administrative support, reporting and financial co-ordination. You will have a background in high end administration duties, tertiary qualifications in business administration or similar, advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills and an understanding/and or experience in end to end project administration.

CYAAA Student Education Trust Consultants - Aurukun, Hope Vale & Coen
Student Education Trusts (SETs) enables parents to financially support their child's education and development from ‘birth to graduation’. SETs works with parents and families to manage funds to meet their child's education needs. SETs also work with education and child development services to set appropriate expectations of a child's needs with families and works with education material suppliers to improve family access to educational goods and services.
Our Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy currently needs SETs consultants for three out of four of our trial communities - Aurukun, Hope Vale and Coen. The major accountabilities of the position are service provision, community engagement and administration reporting. The role reports to the Project Manager and has no direct reports.

Family Income Management Consultants - Aurukun, Coen & Hope Vale
Family Income Management (FIM) is a voluntary service designed to support individuals and families, with the education, information and ongoing support needed to manage their money and meet their obligations. FIM supports individuals and families to manage money for basic material needs, build capabilities through financial literacy and build assets through saving and disciplined money management.
We have four opportunities for a FIM Consultant to be based in one of our four Cape York communities, combining hands-on support with community and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for developing the capacity of individuals and families to effectively manage income to achieve improved living standards by managing their money so that basic material needs are provided for.
The position demands a proactive, self motivated person who has a dynamic attitude, and an ability to work closely with individuals and families to provide support and counselling on income management as part of the Cape York welfare reform agenda. You DO NOT necessarily need experience with numbers! Customer service, sales, community work or any experience with face-to-face client interaction is highly desirable.

Case Managers - Coen, Aurukun, Hope Vale & Mossman
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Full Service Case Management Framework (CMF), supported by CYAAA, aims to establish a community wide expectation of 100% school attendance, school readiness, secondary school transition, health and wellbeing, and parental participation strategies. Case Managers work with students, parents, schools and the broader community to set and meet these expectations.
Case Managers - based in schools in each of our Welfare Reform trial communities - visit parents if a student is late or absent from school or not school ready, makes referrals to services, supports parents in meeting their obligations and engages with all community partners and service providers.
We require four Case Managers - one based in each of the trial communties: Coen, Hope Vale, Mossman and Aurukun.
You will ideally have previous Teaching, Education or Case Management experience with a proven ability in achieving behavioural change with individuals and cultures. To be successful in this rewarding role, you will need to be results focused, highly organised and have experience working with families and communities. You will have extensive support from a highly experienced Management Team and have every opportunity to contribute to the development of the project.

Project Analyst
Cape York Partnerships has active projects across the four streams of welfare reform — Education, Economic Development, Social Responsibility and Housing — along with several projects under development. The Project Analyst is responsible for designing business solutions through research and by working in consultation with project team/s, partners and other related interests. The major accountabilities of the position are:
- research and analysis
- business development
- reporting and evaluation
- community engagement
This role forms part of the Project Development Unit (PDU), working across CYP's suite of program activity. The Project Analyst will be allocated to specific project (or corporate) tasks on an as needs basis, based on demand, either individually or as part of a team based approach.
You will have previous experience in a similar role working with ambiguity, analysing complex situations, in order to generate alternative solutions and form appropriate recommendations and conclusions. You will have experience in gathering and reporting information and data with a high level of accuracy including data entry and reporting. To be successful in this position you will be highly organised with a demonstrated ability to identify and achieve work objectives and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
