Business Services
Cape York Partnerships is supported by the Business Services which provides a shared service to assist with finance, contract and reporting management, human resource management, program management and administration support.
Business Services is responsible for the following functions:
Administration
- Ensure teams are provided effective and efficient administration through policy, file management and meeting support.
- Provide effective and efficient support to the executive management team around correspondence, travel arrangements and diary management.
- Provide the board with relevant and accurate information to enable them to make effective and efficient decisions.
Communications
- Implement effective and efficient communications that support to our teams, our partners and our constituents to positively engage, promote and commit to the Cape York Partnerships agenda.
- Deliver effective and efficient engagement to our teams, our partners and our constituents that engenders participation, support, buy-in and ownership of Cape York Partnerships objectives and projects.
- Brand and market Cape York Partnerships to strengthen existing partnerships and generate new partnerships.
- Roll out a fundraising strategy to enhance the delivery of Cape York Partnerships objectives.
Contract Management
- Provide managers with contract management support including contract approval, alignment to Cape York Partnerships objectives, risk mitigation and adherence to financial and legal requirements.
Facilities/Asset Management
- Operate an effective and efficient facilities and asset management system that promotes teamwork and enhances project and Cape York Partnerships performance.
Finance
- Deliver a compliant, cost effective and efficient financial system that ensures fiscal compliance and supports projects to best monitor and deliver on their objectives.
- Manage a procurement system that achieves cost effectiveness and alignment to the needs, values and policies of Cape York Partnerships.
Governance
- Develop practical internal policies that embed Cape York Partnerships values and assist to deliver Cape York Partnerships objectives.
- Establish and maintain a Board with the appropriate knowledge, experience, networks and availability to oversee the Cape York Partnerships agenda and operations.
HR Management
- Deliver human resource management that attracts, develops and retains a highly skilled knowledgeable and committed workforce that role models and delivers the Cape York Partnerships vision.
IT Support
- Ensure IT services are relevant, effective and efficient to best meet the needs of projects and Cape York Partnerships.
Program Management
- Provide strategic and managerial support to the full Cape York Partnerships agenda.
- Embed a Project Management Framework across all projects.
- Foster innovation, adaptation, and synergies on new or emerging initiatives for the effective delivery of the Cape York Partnerships agenda.
